ApeX Alliance Wide Rules

  • Rule One: No Drama within the alliance is permitted.

    • Section One: We constitute drama as making rude and unnecessary comments in alliance chat at the expense of a guild, or other players inside or outside of the alliance. Be respectful to others within the alliance by keeping the alliance chat clean. (No inappropriate words, slurs, or phrases).

    • Section Two: Controversial topics such as religion and politics should be left out of alliance chat.

    • Section Three: We also constitute drama as being racist or prejudice in any form that is directed towards another player, inside or outside of the alliance, regardless of the form of communication.

    • Section Four: We also constitute drama as making a conflict larger than it needs to be by using an open chat or an outside media source. If a conflict arises between you and another alliance member, do not post about the conflict in an open chat like alliance chat or involve more people whom it does not pertain too. Try to work the problem out between you and the other person or persons or take the problem to a guild or alliance leader.

    • Section Five: Alliance chat is first come first serve and needs to be done on this basis to keep chances fair for everyone! In order to do this, ALL players when hosting in the alliance chat MUST display a countdown based on dungeon availability and cannot request private messages only for an invite.  For transparency purposes, all responses MUST be in Alliance chat for the spot to be reserved.  Any other methods of communication should either be ignored or replied to the sender to resend the request in Alliance chat.  For example, "Hosting Castle Never, need 1 Tank and 2 DPS.  PM for invite" is not acceptable and should read “Hosting Castle Never need 1 Tank and 2 DPS.”  Once the group is full the host should announce "Castle Never full."

    • Section Six: Spam messages in any form other than event hosting and Dragonflight should be left out of alliance chat.  Spam messages would include repeating the same context multiple times within a short time frame (~5 minutes).  Begging and/or panhandling for items or funds should be left out of alliance chat.  This including but is not limited to: AD, Gold, Zen, etc.  Trade messages (WTB, WTS, and WTT) are not considered spam messages as long as they are not announced in alliance chat multiple times within a short time frame.

    • Section Seven: We are an English speaking alliance, so all alliance chat should be kept to English.

  • Rule Two: No Poaching within the alliance is permitted.

    • Section One: We constitute poaching as a guild leader or anyone within the guild who is approaching a member of another guild in the alliance with the intent of recruiting them to their guild.

    • Section Two: We also constitute poaching as a guild leader or anyone within the guild who is approaching a member of another guild in the alliance with the intent of recruiting their alternate characters to their guild.

    • Section Three: In order for a member to be transferred from one guild in the alliance to another guild in the alliance, said member must contact the leader of the new guild they wish to join and provide their reason. That guild leader would then contact the member’s current guild leader to obtain approval of the transfer. Once both guild leaders have agreed on the transfer, final approval is needed by the alliance leader. Upon approval of all 3 leaders only then the member transfer can occur.

    • Section Four: If a player leaves a guild within the alliance and chooses to return, they must return to the same guild with which they had left. Upon return, if there is a valid reason the member would choose to join a different guild then a member transfer must occur (Refer to Rule Two, Section Three).

  • Rule Three: No conflicts of interest is permitted within the alliance.

    • Section One: This means that players cannot have any characters in different guilds within the alliance except if said character falls under the Section Two guidelines.

    • Section Two: Guild leadership who operate multiple guilds within the alliance are granted a special circumstance permission for the Guild Founder (Rank 7), Guild Leaders (Rank 6), and recruitment officers (Rank 5's who do recruiting) to allow those players to have characters in multiple guilds as long as the Guild Founder (Rank 7) of those guilds is the same.  Players not in the above described roles are still subject to Rule Two: No Poaching withing the alliance is permitted as well as Section One of Rule Three: No conflicts of interest permitted within the alliance.

*Disclaimer* Any false claims can also be subject to disciplinary action.

*Please Note* All of these rules are subject to change at any time by the Alliance wide leadership as new events, incidents, and circumstances occur.
